Social Studies -study vocab
After reviewing the previous Science test over Matter, it became readily apparent that practically all of the 4th grade students are NOT reviewing and studying the material at home. Please help your student to prioritize at home by setting aside 10-15 minutes a night to review the vocabulary words. I will be implementing some new study strategies this week in class with the hope that the students will begin to also use them at home. Some examples would be flash cards, creating key words/concepts as definition prompts, illustration prompts, self-quizzing, etc. Thank you very much for your help. I hope that together we can help your student to become a motivated and successful individual!
