Welllllllll, we made it through our first regularly scheduled day! Although it seemed just as packed as the heat schedule, the students were able to forge onward and make it through all of the material. We discussed sensory details in different types of writing (for some reason everyone was fixated on "smelling" the manure in the Charlotte's Web example), explored the Moh's Hardness Scale, and reviewed place value in Mathematics. Homework for tonight included reviewing spelling words (TEST FRIDAY!), reviewing Science vocab, and completing Math pg.26-28 #1-30. I'll see everyone tomorrow!
